Our division was charged with developing software to create floorplans and other engineering documents based on the engineered lumber created by the TrusJoist sub-division. Worked within a .NET environment to deliver accurate and trust worthy code for building and architectural code. Considering the software was used to design buildings; safe, precise and bug free code was an imperative. Also served as a mentor and lead on code design and structure for the team. Developed unit tests in a rigid ‘test-first’ Agile environment. Anything shy of 100 percent reliability caused full re-deployments of our system.
