  Key responsibilities • Board financial reporting, regulatory reporting to Housing Registrar, production of statutory accounts, ad-hoc financial analysis, budgeting and treasury management. • Risk Management function within YCH and main liaison with the Risk and Compliance sub-committee of the YCH Board. • Ensuring YCH complies with all legal, statutory, contractual and regulatory requirements. • Management of the YCH IT function and project sponsor for the implementation of new YCH integrated software which brings together finance, tenancy management and asset management software systems. • Management of investment portfolio (approx $8m) and debt portfolio (approx $40m) As at 2015, after a merger with Urban Communities, YCH is one of the largest Affordable Housing Associations in Victoria in terms of properties under management . YCH has a particular focus on providing housing and support options for some of the most marginalised people in our community. YCH currently manages over 2400 social housing units across the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne, Geelong and Adelaide. Over the last 8 years YCH has designed and developed over 1,000 new community housing units including 7 high density projects of over 50 units. The largest YCH development is the 161 unit Supportive Housing project located at 660 Elizabeth St. . The organisation has an annual turnover of over $ 20 million, employs over 100 staff across 7 main office sites and operates 10 different specialist models of housing and support for people with particular support needs.
