  1. TRANSPORT AND FLEET MANAGEMENT Plan all trips that require the usage of Metro Police Finance section vehicles. Ensuring that all trips are Authorized and completed correctly Transporting of Metro Police Staff to various depots/locations for operational matters and meetings. Transporting of Metro Police Staff to training interventions Transporting obsolete assets and Metro Police items to the CCT Public Auction Centre Collecting and transporting of Metro Police Inventory & Assets from various locations Collecting and transporting of stock items from various City of Cape Town Stores. Transporting obsolete Metro Police Uniforms for disposal to incineration facilities. Ensure that the Metro Police Finance section vehicles are well maintained and regularly serviced. Ensure that the vehicles licenses are up to date. Completing monthly mileage and fuel usage reports for management. Conducting vehicle first parade checks before and after each trip Managing log books to ensure that details are up to date. Record keeping of all authorised trip authority forms and captured fuel slips. Attending monthly/quarterly fleet meetings Conducting quarterly vehicle assessments Reporting maintenance or breakdown issues Ensuring that vehicles are kept clean and Roadworthy at all times. 2. STORES DUTIES Ensuring correct quantity and quality of stock received.
