      For a three year span, Craig worked for a well known Cincinnati Catholic Parish managing day-to-day duties and overseeing the financial base for the parishioner membership, the presiding Priest, the Financial Advisory Council, and the aspiring school children attendees. Within that position, Craig truly learned humility and was guided by the actions of Fr. Robert Farrell. It was an eye opener for Craig to learn how to be an intrinsic "SERVANT" leader. It was a challenging and life changing experience and Craig now attributes much of his "centered" current leadership capabilities to those years in that challenging position.       Craig was president of the Non-Profit, American Association of Certified Appraisers, and became a Director, Officer, and Trustee to the Appraisal Foundation in Washington, DC. He helped create the USAP standards for the Appraisal/ Evaluation Industries. In addition, Craig paneled the creation of the ANSI standards for square footage measurement directive for the National Association of Homebuilders - adopted internationally by many entities including BOMA. Craig performed and reviewed thousands of Appraisals and evaluations with S.A. Pastor and Associates and the late Mr. Robert VonBargen MAI in the Tri-State marketplace. He was elected an Honorary Member of the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers when he successfully conducted a merger of AACA membership to the NAIFA - creating over 5,000+ members worldwide.       Craig and his close friend, Jay Shephard, started a Cincinnati based sales organization called SALE (Sales Achievers Leaders & Entrepreneurs). The Primary Goal was to grow membership to 500+ professionals giving a consistent, adequate income base and at the pinnacle, take the concept National! Craig and Jay enjoyed those wonderful years bringing in Top Speakers in their fields like the late Og Mandino - who brought over 800 Professionals to the New Sharonville convention center! The membership peaked at 472 and the dreams of going national never transpired. Craig and Jay are the best of friends to this day and attribute much of their combined successes to what they created, learned, practiced, and experienced through Sales Achievers Leaders & Entrepreneurs. The Downstairs Gym was one of the first 24hr facilities in the city. The equipment was hand-made in Cincinnati and known for its ability to stand up to the Power Teams. After 7 years of ownership, Craig bought out his Co Founder and a few years later, successfully sold "The Downstairs Gym" to a longtime, College friend who enjoyed the business keeping it alive and well! There are still gym owners today in the Cincinnati area who praise the workouts, the training and the overall results they experienced at Cincinnati's, "Downstairs Gym." Show less

      Craig worked for his mentor/father's company for 10 years in all areas of Construction and New Home Sales. He vividly remembers sweeping the floors of new construction properties, digging with a shovel downspout lines for a 12 week long Summer season and driving small bulldozers at the age of 13. Those years were the most rewarding toward his overall career because it instilled HARD WORK. Craig Homes Inc. built over 2,000 homes, and small commercial/Apartments from 1958 to 1989. His father, Earl, was also the elected President of the Cincinnati Home Builders Association in 1972. During these years, Craig was privileged to work with American Heritage Builders, The Drees Company, and Murphy Homes procuring additional experience with larger Construction companies. Between these existing successful companies, Craig was able to sell over 12 Million Dollars of new homes! Craig states; " it was the greatest years of my life as I was raising a new family while working with my best friend, my late Father. I owe my business "Foundation " (no pun intended) to my Dad - and deeply miss his mentoring, guidance and presence. Show less
