Landscape Architect

Worked to provide design solutions that are innovative, technically resolved, and executed on site to the highest possible standards. Project involvement across a wide variety of sectors and scales, from city-wide masterplanning down to bespoke street furniture. Demonstrated a thoughtful and meticulous approach which resulted in successful funding bids, competition wins, and industry relevant awards. Aided the development of project briefs and initial design responses through meetings with clients, and DTMs with external consultants. Collaborated on D&A statements/chapters. Provided; photography, site analysis, diagramming, rendered designs, material palettes, and text. Produced plan, sectional, and detail drawings with requisite level of detail required for RIBA Work Stages 1-5. Wrote supporting documents for design proposals including risk assessment and management registers, maintenance schedules, and NBS specifications. Devised planting designs, generated soft palettes, quantified plans and schedules. Site meetings with landscape contractors to monitor installation, undertake quality control, and assist setting out. Created all graphic content for LVIAs; analysis figures, SWOC diagrams, GLVIA compliant photography, digital modelling, and photoshop montaging. Produced written content for landscape appraisal documents. Undertook regular CPD sessions, identified and attended seminar events, and gained landscape relevant HS&E training; RoLO HS&E Awareness (2019); CITB HS&E Managers & Professionals (2020). Provided ongoing feedback on and/or amendments to internal Adobe templates, and AutoCAD drawings. Implemented the initial cataloguing and continued organisation of material sample library. Liaised with studio directors to agree weekly resourcing and time allocation to meet deadlines, facilitate meeting attendance, and ensure smooth operation of studio work. Show less
