The Fifth Third Trading Center is a Bloomberg and Capital IQ equipped research and resource lab at Xavier University. My past projects are the following:- Collaborated in planning and hosting two Women in Business events with my fellow colleagues in the center. Since being involved with this event, we have hosted approximately 45 high school students. We present on the broad range of business majors and future career options. We also speak on the challenges of being a woman in the… The Fifth Third Trading Center is a Bloomberg and Capital IQ equipped research and resource lab at Xavier University. My past projects are the following:- Collaborated in planning and hosting two Women in Business events with my fellow colleagues in the center. Since being involved with this event, we have hosted approximately 45 high school students. We present on the broad range of business majors and future career options. We also speak on the challenges of being a woman in the business field.- Facilitated a project aimed at bringing non-finance courses and students into the Trading Center which is mostly used by finance and accounting students. This project has brought a marketing class into the center for Bloomberg and Capital IQ introductionsMy day to day responsibilities include the following:- Managing the space during shifts. i.e. technical assistance, giving guidance and finding solutions.- Assisting in planning the annual McCormick Investment Symposium with our team.- Hosting classes in the trading center where we encourage students to become BMC Certified and using the tools provided by our center.
