  As a customer service assistant I work with customers on a daily basis, helping them to purchase/ book tickets, upselling food and drinks and then preparing them (Popcorn, Nachos, hotdogs) and hot and cold drinks and keeping all food preparation areas clean to a high standard. I also monitor stock portion control, stock wastage/damage and stock rotation.When on floor duties I ensure that screens & toilets are cleaned efficiently, to a high standard, tickets are checked throughly and that any queries or complaints a customer may have is dealt with quickly (by myself or a manager on duty), efficently and to there satisfaction. Vue cinema at Star city is a very popular attraction and can have thousands of admissions a day, giving me ample experience of working in a busy, fast paced retail environment.I was also a training buddie. As a training buddie I would train new members of staff in all of the above and sign them off on each role and responsibility in preparation for there 11week probation review. I am also able to give refunds/swap tickets and fill out required paper work.In May 2019 I was promoted to cashier- my primary responsibility is to cash up money made on tills physically and on the vista cash desk computer system. I made up floats and complete all associated paperwork to audit standards. It is my responsibilty to ensure money is cashed up and banked accurately and that all variances are recorded, investigated and explained.
