Rife magazine is an online publication designed to enrich the youth of Bristol. It is the result of a partnership between Bristol Youth Links and Watershed, with the aim to get younger generations more involved with the city they live in. Rife is written by young people specifically for young people, covering everything from Bristol culture, to film, to politics. During my final year at UWE, I was selected for a placement position with Rife, during which, I wrote several articles concerning life experiences and society. I also wrote for the Rife Guide, investigating specific areas in Bristol. All articles were published to the site. My involvement at the magazine developed skills I have learnt through my course and showed me how to apply them to practical, working environment. Show less
