  Analytical research position, working under Jenifer Furchak on biological sensors. Using PCR to transcribe DNA from plasmids that is then transcribed into RNA. The RNA must be precipitated and purified before use. Assays are then ran to test the functionality of the biosensor using a fluorescent plate reader.
