I am responsible for making sure that Appalachian State staff, facility, and students children are well taken care of daily. Specifically, I make sure that everyone’s children are happy and safe from any danger. I also have to maintain effective communication between the lead teacher’s and the children’s parents about any issues that may have occurred that day. I make sure that the kids have fun activities that keep them engaged and helps them develop different motor skills. I make sure to track every child progress thought out the day, this includes writing down what foods they like to eat, what their favorite toys and activities are, and who they are playing with on the playground.
