  I supervise 60 or more felony probationers that are sent to Drug Court as a condition of their probation. I ensure that the compliant with all requirements which include mandatory drug screens, outpatient treatment attendance, court attendance and participation in the 12 step recovery community. I am responsible for monitoring their patterns of behavior for negative change and tracking their progress through the program. I a responsible for entering all pertinent data on each client into a Supreme Court data base call the DCCM (Drug Court Case Management). Once a week, that information is compiled, by myself, into a status report and presented to the presiding judge for a status hearing which each client must attend when subpoenaed. I also responsible for making sanction recommendations when a client is found to be out of compliance. Those sanctions range from simple essay writing to dismissal, revocation and prison time. I work in conjunction with State Probation and Parole, The District Attorney's Office, The Public Defenders Office, treatment providers, St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's department, and District Judges.
