  As an intern in the newsroom with Good Day Atlanta my main job has been to shadow and assist the planning editor and guest booker. I attend to guests when they are on set and also set up and tear down sets when we are doing live segments with props and/or guests. Lately I've become more active with our health segments department as we film teasers for stories that will air during our new 4:00 show in September in hopes to keep viewers tuned in for the 5:00 and 6:00 news program. Also, I sit in on production meetings, generate potential story ideas, and am working with the News Director to create an Intern section on our facebook page that will allow viewers to see a behind-the-scenes side of Fox 5 from the interns point of view.   My main role was to generate income for the company by successfully showing and leasing apartments to potential renters. I also served as a liaison between residents and managerial staff. One of the highlights of my job was also marketing the community throughout the city of Valdosta and planning and organizing resident events.
