  Partners in Education is a program under the Associate Dean of the college which provides academic support to first years who experience academic difficulty. As a post-bac mentor, I designed programming for college students who struggled academically in their first semester. To support academic success, I created and led activities to develop writing and academic skills, as well as develop systems for better time management and organization. Working closely with a team including a second post-bac, the Dean, and various faculty and staff, I facilitated discussions and activities during retreats and study sessions, created journaling prompts, and promoted efficient study habits throughout the semester.
