  In the next upcoming months, I will be student teaching at Gibsonville Elementary in a first grade classroom for a total of 12 weeks. Within that time period, I will be full time teaching 6 of those weeks. I will lead the students throughout their days and be able to experience what a full day of teaching encompasses. For the past five months, I have been working with a first grade teacher and observing her different teaching practices. I was able to teach one full unit on geometry and a few simple lessons throughout the course of the semester. Show less
