  HCMR is the equivalent agency in Greece to NOAA in the US. It has 500 employees in three campuses, three research ships, one submarine and does all marine related research in Greece. During my tenure, the research budget increased by about 30% per year, despite the financial crisis in Greece. Also, we hosted the Climate Change Exhibition from New York's American Museum of Natural History. HCMR is the equivalent agency in Greece to NOAA in the US.
