I had the awesome opportunity to shadow the Vice President of Programming in Burbank CA, for a month during the summer of 2013 as well as 2014. During this internship, I had the privilege of getting an inside look at how broadcast radio operates on a daily basis. I learned valuable skills such as how to use industry standard software (Pro Tools and Adobe Audition) to create sweepers and other media clips for on-air use. I had the amazing opportunity to work with producers on MYfm creating talking points and questions for daily games (Battle of the Sexes) as well as queuing phone calls for give-away contests.
