I worked in the Reprography division, digitizing and batch-processing textual documents from the archives. I mostly work with Canadian Expeditionary Forces files from WW1, Killed in Action files from WW2, and digitizing individual soldier's files in response to a request from the public. At the Gatineau Preservation Centre, flexibility is essential to maintain high levels of output by adapting to changes in mandated workflow procedures, office environment and physical hardware.
