I currently work for Zane Trace Local School District as the director of technology. The job responsibilities of this role includes: Management of network components, resolving issues with technology, and providing staff with 21st century learning skills and tools they can use in their classroom. My goal is to provide staff with the capability of using new technology such as Google Apps and Chrome devices with their existing curriculum. I began my journey into the field of IT as a field technician, working as a contractor for the Chillicothe City School District. I was hired by SCOCA on February 12, 2014 after being in an internship program since August, 2014. While in this position, I learned many things about working in an organization and being a good communicator. My Mentor, Josh Montgomery, who is the Director of Technology for Chillicothe City School District and Computer Science instructor for Southern State Community College shared his wisdom with me while under his wing.
