I served as the branch expert in Correspondent lending which entailed training of the A/Es, Ops staff and correspondents in procedures, guidelines, marketing and quality assurance with the goal of smooth purchases of correspondent files in a timely manner. Delivering superior customer service to our customers was the platform I built our procedures and processes from, while managing the branch efficiencies and employee development. Under my leadership the branch rose from 36th position to the number one Operations Team in the company, by measure of loans funded per full time employee, A/E, and first payment defaults. I created a sales mentality in every Operations associate to build broker relationship strength and increase funded loans per broker, a measure that increased over 300% in the past 12 months. Each associate completed a development plan that resulted in the maximum signing authority by job position, as well as cross-training in at least two separate departments. I was responsible for the Quality of loan decisions and loan exceptions, monitored all QC reports and investor rejects and developed training initiatives from the findings, audited each department on a weekly basis and developed standards for each individual department.
