I teach Visual Arts at the middle school level, including a Studio course for advanced art students in 8th grade.. The curriculum aims to incorporate drawing, painting, clay, art history, material exploration, and printmaking. Classroom management, lesson planning, and keeping a rigorous project schedule are all daily responsibilities. Student work is displayed throughout the district and entered in exhibitions throughout Onondaga County. I also have also created an after school art group that I meet with weekly to learn new art processes and use new art mediums. Show less

Responsibilities included creating innovative and engaging lessons for six year-old students on a weekly basis. Students were encouraged to explore new materials and processes including watercolor, fiber art and installation art.
