      Key Responsibilities: • Assisted in field visits, data collection and entry in the office. • Managed office files and information. • Provided administrative support (receiving and sending documents, photocopying etc.). • Laid-out and measured plantation sites for pegging and transplanting of seedlings. • Assisted in monitoring of field assistants in all districts as part of the government of Ghana National Plantation Program (GNPP). • Supported the education of farmers on agri-silviculture system with focus on the type of crop to cultivate. • Protected the division's computers and all machines for safe use. • Worked at the Forestry Commissions nursery and assisted in wood lumbering inspection. • Assisted to Improved forest health by introducing and implementing policies such as invasive species control. • Assisted forester in preparing and collecting data for forest management plans, wood inspection and GIS mapping. • Communicated effectively with the public to answer questions about forestry, conservation and sustainability. • Contributed to reforestation initiatives by planting trees on land which was logged, destroyed in forest fire or cleared by industrial use.
