I can enthusiastically recommend Corky Bellile for a senior management position in your institution. I have had the pleasure of knowing Ms. Bellile and working with her in a variety of positions, first as the Chairman of Medicine at West Suburban Medical Center, and as managing partner of an Internal Medicine practice with whom we did a joint venture. I am currently the Director of Primary Care Oak Park at Rush University Medical Center and Associate Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine. Ms. Bellile has a broad array of experiences, in a community hospital, a rehabilitation hospital, as a COO of a large private dermatology practice, and as a Vice-President and Regional Operating Officer of Amita Health Medical Group. In each of her positions, I have personal knowledge of her superior expertise and accomplishments. She is a visionary, and has demonstrated the ability to develop new programs and promote growth. Highlights include implementing and promoting a renovated outpatient pavilion at Marionjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, and transitioning the sale and operational integration of a large dermatology group to a national physician group. She seamlessly facilitated the merger, dealing with financial, logistical, operational and human resources issues. I have worked side-by-side with Ms. Bellile when she opened a new dermatology office in Oak Park, as she facilitated the co-location of her practice and our practice. It was a smooth operation, where she facilitated a potentially awkward situation between two groups. The operation went off without a hitch and was a professional and financially successful venture. Over the course of my career, I have been able to observe her in her professional development. She is a forward thinker, who has engendered the respect and trust of those with whom she works. She strives for nothing short of excellence, and leads by example. The people who report to her view her as a collaborative leader. This extends to her continued focus on patient satisfaction. In conclusion, Corky Bellile is a phenomenal senior level healthcare executive. I would love to work with her again, and if in the position, would hire her for my team. Sincerely, Karen B. Weinstein, MD FACP Associate Professor and Associate Division Chief, Internal Medicine Rush University Medical Center
