I had the pleasure of working with Cori at Vocus and very quickly learned if you give her a task and then get out of her way – she’ll surprise you with what she returns. She’s smart, detail-oriented and dependable and Cori progressed in responsibilities during my tenure from assisting with events, to managing them, and then transitioning into a highly effective email marketer and most recently landing in marketing automation. She is a well-rounded marketer. For those savvy prospective employers that examine her profile closely, you’ll see another attractive characteristic that’s missing among so many of her peers: loyalty. She stuck with Vocus through a number of transactions that took the company from public to private and then spun off a piece (her piece) into a high-risk startup. I would welcome the opportunity to work with Cori again – and should the opportunity present itself – I’d hire her in a heartbeat.
