  I created soils, hydrology, and special status species maps of project areas using ArcGIS to be used in the preparation of Natural Environmental Study (NES) in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). I also assisted in the qualitative and quantitative monitoring and identification of the plant and animal species located on project sites. In order to successfully identify potential species seen at the project sites, I created visual guides as well as descriptive tables that informed viewers of the suitable habitats and appearance of special status species they may come into contact with at the jobsite.
