      My responsibilities encompass the following: * design, development and maintenance of a wide range of in-house database applications: ~ the applications are used by the logistics, manufacturing, quality, EHS, maintenance, engineering, HR and finance departments ~ all SDLC (software development life cycle) stages are implemented: requirements gathering & analysis, data modeling, design, development, testing, deployment, training and maintenance ~ application data is stored and permissions managed in SQL Server databases ~ most of the business logic is implemented as server-side stored procedures, user-defined functions, triggers, views ~ database schema and permissions changes are audited through DDL database triggers, data changes are audited through DML triggers ~ the front-end is mostly MS Access and occasionally MS Excel with extensive customization using VBA ~ Several applications deemed to impact the product's quality have successfully passed software validation by an external company according to FDA CFR 21 Part 11 * designing and developing BI projects: ~ designing, developing and maintaining SQL Server data warehouses and data marts for the storage of aggregated values relating to various operational KPIs, energy consumption figures and aggregated data retrieved from ERP ~ creating SSIS packages for ETL processes aimed at cleansing and uploading data from heterogeneous data sources into data warehouses ~ designing and maintaining SSRS reports (tablix and matrix reports, charts, sub-reports), aimed at data analysis and visualization of information retrieved from the ERP system, data warehouses and various other systems * writing & revising procedures, Software Requirements Specifications, data models, workflow diagrams, training materials, Software Test Descriptions and Software Test Reports and any other relevant documentation for the applications under my responsibility * providing training and support to users on the major MS Office suite applications Show less

      My main tasks included the following: * starting from Jan-2011 my job included also the design, development and maintenance of in-house SQL database applications: ~ the applications' user-base included the quality, EHS, maintenance, logistics, engineering and HR departments: ~ all stages of the software development life cycle were implemented: requirements gathering & analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, training and maintenance ~ application data was stored and permissions managed in SQL Server databases ~ the front-end was mostly MS Access and occasionally MS Excel with extensive customization leveraging their VBA programming capabilities * starting from Q3-2005 my job included also the design, development and maintenance of MS Access applications, mainly for the quality department, whose data was stored in local MS Access tables * starting from Q3-2000 my job included developing MS Excel applications aimed at analyzing and displaying data retrieved from a wide variety of data sources: ERP system, server databases, MS Access databases, text files etc., while using Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts as well as VBA * between Q4-2006 and Q3-2011 I was also responsible for managing the equipment calibration-related activities of the company * between Q1-2001 and Q2-2008 I was also responsible for managing and dispositioning non-conforming material as part of the Material Review Board * throughout the employment period I was responsible for writing & revising procedures and other relevant documentation as well as being actively involved in preparing the company for all ISO accreditation & follow-up audits - for Quality Management System (ISO9001 / ISO13485) and EHS System (OHSAS 18001 / ISO14001) certificates * At the beginning of Sep-2012, I was re-assigned to the position of IT Technical Support at BY Medimor Ltd., basically retaining most of the responsibilities, with some new ones being added as well Show less
