Corina is a joy to partner with, especially on complex, long-term projects involving multiple stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and expertise. On one such project called the Voices Incubator for Economic Opportunity, Corina spearheaded the learning and training team where I fulfilled the role of a Campaigns Coach. During that time, she helped us build and expertly manage nuanced relationships with leaders from national and grassroots nonprofits alongside funders from large global foundations, all the while keeping internal teams on track. Corina's natural ability to improvise enabled the team and the beneficiaries of the program to course-correct at a moment's notice whenever we needed to pivot to match the ever-changing socio-political climate at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. I wish her all the very best in all her future endeavors and hope to work with her again someday.

When building teams that last, you need capable and adaptable leaders adept in both mentoring those around them and steering change management across all levels of the organization to ensure everyone is working toward the same set of goals. Corina accomplishes all of this and more in her work, which I’ve observed closely during our time together at Purpose, where we collaborated in leadership of the Voices for Economic Opportunity Incubator, funded by the Gates Foundation and Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. This program involved over 50 staff across the company, in addition to 100+ stakeholders and incubator participants, and Corina managed to make every space we hosted for these individuals feel like an intimate conversation. That is because she deeply listens to those she partners with and uses her extraordinary background in everything from curriculum-building and sustainability to jazz vocals to create a holistic learning environment for those around her. I have seen so many staff members blossom under her intentional mentorship, while individual functions merged into a real team accomplishing incredibly ambitious work. Corina does not take her leadership lightly, and that makes all the difference. I hope to continue working with her always and could not recommend her more highly for your strategic efforts, philanthropic partnerships, community programs, and talented teams.

Social Innovation Exchange (SIX) is a social innovation partnership built on mutual value, relationships and knowledge, it facilitates cross-sector conversations to inspire and increase social impact. I was commissioned by SIX (self-employed) to explore innovative artistic methods to improve the wellbeing of individuals and communities by developing and championing effective global social innovation solutions. ◼ Deployed a multimodal approach to express through artistic practice a preferred route forward to tackle global issues (community, equality, empowerment, and the environment), and broadcasted a production with six Artist-Composers (Harpist, Filmmaker, Jazz Musician, Composer, Poet and Artist) to proclaim the message. ◼ Created and presented the radical ‘Jazz for wayfinding’ initiative comprising of a series of lectures that extend and strengthen cross-disciplinary collaboration by translating music and dance concepts into learning opportunities.

The Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE) is the UK's national academy of engineering; it is a government-funded charity that harnesses the power of engineering to build a sustainable and inclusive society. I was engaged to develop and implement a strategy to enable a systems approach to delivering housing planning and delivery across UK government and its partnerships ◼ Increased RAE’s visibility in central government by developing and introducing a structured methodology to aid market decision-making, and my approach was adopted by the Civil Service. ◼ Conducted in-depth research to identify issues, and develop strategic recommendations setting-out clear actions to improve housing delivery, and convened stakeholders to map key interdependencies within the infrastructure sub-systems that impinge on the quality of housing provision. ◼ Presented complex engineering communications and systems thinking topics, in a way that could easily be understood by different audiences through the use of innovative techniques; and made keynote addresses to global forums such as the Global Grand Challenges Summit (Queen Elizabeth Hall) to inspire cross-disciplinary approaches and adaptive leadership. ◼ As Chair of the Climate Action panel, drove forward partnerships with corporate executives (e.g. engineering partners and early career engineers) by facilitating workshops to identify and align shared goals. ◼ Evolved the first ‘environmental, social and governance’ initiative (Sustainable Living Places) from strategy stage to delivery.

The University of Oxford’s collaboration with the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) was formed to enable companies, cities, and regions, to manage their environmental impacts. I was engaged on a short-term contract to analyse data compiled by the CDP on water use across 20 sectors ◼ Evaluated collected data to ascertain reasons why some companies opted not to disclose water usage as part of wider trends around disclosure (e.g. carbon). ◼ Conducted scoping exercise to determine data insights that would be of value to the academic community. ◼ Initiated use of an innovative network mapping tool (Kumu.io) to identify the key points of change within the respondents’ data, i.e. the trends across ~20 industries.
