I worked with Corey during a complex time of my career as a leader. Corey was invaluable! He quickly became my most valuable thought partner and patiently helped me see connections and form strategies that gave me great clarity and confidence. Corey's thoughtful, calming style, coupled with his quick-thinking strategic mind is a must have for any leader in today's dynamic business environment. I will always make sure Corey remains a part of my inner circle of collaborators where ever my career journey may take me. Kelley Dillon

We have worked closely with Corey Fernandez for the last year and it has been an awesome experience so far. Some of our team participates in Corey's leadership series, in addition to Corey supporting me personally as a professional development/business coach. Corey brings practical experience to his training and coaching and has a way of bringing clarity to situations that seem overly complicated. Corey leads and communicates with his values, which makes people instantly comfortable with him. So appreciative of Corey's work and support of the EctoHR team and look forward to a long partnership!

We live in a world with organizational “canyons” between senior leaders, underdeveloped managers, and disconnected frontline employees.Given this reality, I led teams of experts…right-brain and left-brain masters of visual communication, business systems, data analysis, storytelling, leadership, management, film, game theory, design thinking, and research. We partnered together to bridge canyons. We aimed to help every company’s employees internalize the big picture of their business and capture shared meaning of the strategy, make truth-telling the centerpiece of culture change, develop effective leaders and managers, and breathe life into skill-building. When this happens, people find more meaning in their work, take action on the organization's most critical priorities, and think and act strategically to drive better results. At Root, I specialized in developing leaders and managers to lead change and deliver results. Faced with declining proportions of state spending, budget cuts, tuition hikes, and cries for affordable access, public universities depend on engaged alumni networks to help them forge ahead in rocky conditions. The Texas Exes - the University of Texas' Alumni Association - plays trusted sidekick to UT to address these challenges with their active alumni members. When universities nurture outstanding student experiences, it often yields more loyal and connected alumni volunteers for years after graduation. Given this formula, I built and directed leadership programs to enrich the student experience and strengthen a pipeline of future advocates, donors, and volunteer leaders.
