MANAGING MRP/ ERP- Purchase signals, reschedule messages, past due purchases. NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT - Collaborated and fostered raw material purchases for Engineering. Managed ETA's and first article process with Quality department. SOURCING- Foster meetings and negotiations with suppliers in regards to new product development and sustaining items. Negotiated lead times, price breaks, tooling costs and net terms. PRICE REDUCTIONS - I work closely with current sources to investigate ways in cost reductions. Which includes but not limited to, kanban systems, pull systems and blanket orders. FORECASTING - I extract data from my MRP/ERP system and provide on hand and forecast demand to each of my suppliers on a monthly basis to insure no supply chain shortages. MRO PURCHASES - I work closely with my engineering department and Maintenance department to purchase tooling and equipment for the supply chain and new product development. My duties also include purchasing janitorial and safety equipment for the production lines and Janitorial staff. Show less
