Developed accurate conceptual models from architectural drawings which facilitated communication of ideas to clients and allowed them to gain a tangible understanding of the design. Developed presentation drawings and content of current projects for use on social media and in architectural competitions. Refined my understanding of the importance of the relationship between client and architect including how communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal are necessary to portray a clear concept.

Developed early conceptual drawings to CAD format according to the Leading Architect’s instructions. Assisted with optimising office workflow as part of my clerical duties, including scheduleing, liaising with clients and facilitating meetings with building and industry representatives. Developed and submitted Client Approval, Development Approval and Building Approval documents and drawings to allow projects to run smoothly and unhindered. Liaised with builders and engineers to develop working drawings which were clear, concise, and both labour and resource efficient. To achieve this outcome I was required to know tolerances specific to materials utilized in the design to allow adaptability in the development stage and a cohesive set of final working drawings. Implemented engineer’s recommendations into working drawings to ensure there would be minimal conflicts during the construction process.
