I’d heartily recommend Corey Logsdon to anyone in need of graphic design services. He consistently produces high-quality work that makes innovative use of Columbia College brand elements and ensures that our marketing materials are on-point. In his time at Columbia College, Corey has proven adept at handling everything from quick design tasks like image-clipping and retouching to large-scale direct mail campaigns. Indeed, while working in the marketing department as an intern, we gave him responsibility for a direct mail campaign that was mailed to 20,000 prospective graduate students. This speaks volumes for the level of trust that we had in Corey’s abilities, even while he was still a student. Corey is also a friendly and polite individual who fitted seamlessly into our marketing team. I have no doubt that he will be an asset to your organization, just as he has been at Columbia College.

As a camp counselor I ushered residents to meals, classes, and evening activities. I also coached students in basic jewelry and Photoshop techniques during class sessions. Above all I ensured that the students had an enjoyable, educational, and safe experience at Columbia College.

    • Marketing Department - Student Graphic Designer
      • Jan 2014 - Jul 2016

Working with the Marketing graphic designer, I update old content to match new branding standards. I also design new content for events such as Global Village, Silver Ticket, and college visits. Notable achievements • Planned, executed, and evaluated a direct marketing campaign targeting 28,000 undergrad alumni to boost graduate program attendance.• Created the bus wraps for a potential $380,000 Columbia College bus. This entailed being part of a committee, presenting my concepts to the college president, taking feedback and using the team's input when I revised designs.• Worked alongside Content Marketing Strategist to identify, create, and publish content based on audience personas for graduate program.

    • 2016 Student Art Show - Coordinator
      • Aug 2015 - Apr 2016

On my own initiative, I planned and organized the 2016 Student Art Show. To do this on top of keeping up with classes and a job I had to learn how to coordinate and delegate less important tasks so that I could accomplish the tasks required to move the art show proposal forward.Responsibilities:• Recruited volunteers and reserved gallery space.• Met with faculty and peers to draft show rules and exhibition dates.• Secured judge and jury members, installed exhibition pieces.

    • Admissions Department - Student Worker
      • May 2012 - Jan 2014

As an admissions student worker I manned the front-desk, dealing with mailings, scheduling appointments between counselors and students, and assisting prospective students. I performed data-entry, adding and editing student data into databases such as Hobson's and Connect. I was also tasked with special projects, such as recreating lost forms and assembling presentations on a tight deadline. This led to my supervisor recommending me for a newly created graphic designer student worker position in the Marketing Department.
