      Reactor Department: Reactor Propulsion Division- Conventional Machinist Mate Fireman. (MMFN). As a Conventional Reactor Propulsion Mechanic I helped operate and maintain vital equipment in the Reactor Propulsion Plant on the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier. Additionally, I assisted in damage control, and reactor casualty assistance team services for Reactor Department compartments on the Truman. I carried a confidential level security clearance while I served in this role. From May through December 2010, I deployed onboard the Truman to the U.S. Navy's Fifth Fleet Area of Operations which included the Persian Gulf, North Arabian Sea, and Red Sea, where the Truman provided close air support to coalition forces on land in Afghanistan and Iraq as part of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation New Dawn.
