• Wire Shop

  Developed from scratch a wire shop that produced the initial certification wiring harnesses for the SJ30i.Over 100 individual harnesses manufactured with over 8 miles of wire, 12,000 individual wires, and 6700 direct labor hours.Developed the production and quality processes and systems to enable FAA certification of the initial design.Helped to develop automated creation of inspection plans for each electrical signal in the design.Optimized wire management for harnesses of over 1200 wires and 60 different connectors.

• FAA Production Certificate

  Wrote the 137 page quality manual to the requirements of 14 CFR 21.137 and FAA Order 8130.23 and gained FAA approval of the same.Led the team that earned an FAA Production Certificate for both Cedar City and San Antonio sites.Responsible for continual maintenance of the quality system, including FAA surveillance audits, supplier control, design data control, and other quality systems in accordance with Federal regulations.

• PLM Software Implementation

  Led the team to implement Infor PLM data management software to control the configuration of SJ30-2.Over 30,000 detail part numbers and 2,500 individual drawings.Oversaw migration of data from Oracle into Infor PLM.Developed the change management process and obtained FAA approval of the process.Continually develop and improve the database.
