  OUR BUILDING CoRE has won multiple awards for its renovation from derelict pottery works to world-class training and conference centre. The prestigious RIBA awarded CoRE the West Midlands Awards for Most Sustainable Project in April 2014. In November 2014 CoRE also won the National LABC Best Change of Use Award. SUSTAINABLE DESIGN CoRE acheived a BREEAM Excellent rating. To ensure this was acheived, careful consideration and implementation of sensitive yet striking additoins to the site was needed, along with thermal and air tightness improvements to the existing building. Technical innovation played a large part in order to incorporate sustaiable materials, plant and construction methods into a building with different construction materials, ages and techniques.
