-Lab Instructor for Experimental Methods in Aerodynamics Requires direct instruction of core engineering concepts applied to basic experiments. Including the proper use of equipment and the methods of its calibration, data acquisition and post processing as well as its presentation in the form of reports.-Research assistant to Professors on all current projects--Primarily in data acquisition and handling. Requires helping through out all stages of an experiment including the design and construction of wind tunnel models. Execution of the test and data acquisition, as well as handling the data for post processing. Processing the data through the use of analytical tools such as MatLab and excel.-Personal Research through the development and execution of an Experimental Thesis in Aerodynamics My thesis is a characterization of the single- step Kline-Fogleman modified (KFm) airfoil group. Through the design of a unique and intricate model, I tested 16, single-step configurations. Analyzing the data has illuminated characteristics that can trend the changes in the performance of the baseline airfoil. The hope is to eventually develop a solid foundation for analytically deriving the behavior of a modified airfoil without the use of expensive testing in the early stages of development. While being able to state if there is a practical benefit for the modification of the airfoil in the first place. This way in the future, curious minds (with respect to KFm airfoils) may use analytical methods that are validated to gain an understanding of why the particular airfoil modification should or should not be made.
