  The Jeffersontown Chamber of Commerce is a business membership organization. Our mission is to help member businesses market, network, and engage with customers, clients, the community, and other businesses.As the Manager of Programs and Events, I: ● Manage 30+ yearly programs and events for a community of more than 1,100 businesses by coordinating logistics, recruiting sponsors, and collaborating with my team to assist businesses in their efforts to market, network, and engage their companies.● Instituted a polling system to measure the success and direction of programs and events in the chamber. This initiative allowed me to better understand the needs of our membership and led me to develop 5 new programs that better serve the needs of our membership.● Collaborated with a team to host Jeffersontown’s annual Gaslight Festival, an eight-day festival containing thirteen events for the community. ● Received the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives (KCCE) Excellence in Events Award for 2021.● Currently maintain an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars on all programs and events I have organized.● Oversee the ideation and execution of social media campaigns, the creation of public relations content, the writing of newsletters, and the managing of ad campaigns.

During my time here I worked for the ski school and instructed children from local military families in an eight week ski course. I also oversaw the maintenance and development of 12 cabins and more than 60 campsites on the military campground.
