Even though I have an engineering background, I am really attracted by international business and management. This internship was a great opportunity to learn another field of the business industry, that I could link to my knowledge in Mechanical and Industrial engineering. Responsible for developing and strengthening long-term relationships with 2 prospects in Singapore and Netherlands. Study of export regulations. • Development of a new range of frozen snack balls. I have been a waitress and a bartender at the Hilton Olympia Hotel, London, UK. This work was intense and physically demanding but it was extremely formative in terms of customer relationship and resilience to stress. From on-floor service, to room service, this work was an excellent practice for self-control under pressure: Customers expect the best service at any time of the day or of the night. My role was to provided them with an outstanding and remarkable service, to show some empathy and anticipate any of their desire in order to obtain their maximum satisfaction and also to be positive and smiling from the beginning of my shift until the end. • Production Operator
      • Apr 2016 - Apr 2016

This internship was about giving an insight of the life inside a factory, close to the machines and working a 8 hour shift on "Poison", "Miss Dior" and "Sauvage" production lines. I proceed to the quality checkings and the supplying of packagings in the machines. I observed and participated to the entire processes of tools changeover and of maintenance. Alongside operators, I have learned a lot about my future job as a Manager as well as an Engineer, that I will keep in mind while working in the industry, on 2 main topics : •The Technical aspect : difficulties to carry the planning on time, identify the bottlenecks in a production line as well as implementating "5 S continuous improvement". The Christian Dior factory has implemented cutting edge machines and processes in order to maintain the high productivity rate that they need. •The Social aspect : hierarchial management and processes, importance of regular balance sheet for workers, and also, the importance of the human factor when planning a production. While reconstucting a production line, operators were directly asked their opinion, their advices and were considered as the greatest experts. That way, they were involved and with strong feeling of ownership to this project. In the end, the social system of a company is as important as the technical system and should never be left aside because it impacts directly on the efficiency of a plant. Show less
