  Layout Multi-layer PCB designs using CAD equipment to Design information supplied and to prepare to a sufficient level for manufacture. 1 - Rework designs to the satisfaction of the Customer, Design Manager and MRQ. 2 - Ensure that design projects have the correct component placement. 3 - Ensure that schematics and net lists conform to client expectations. 4 - Ensure that design tracing matches client accepted schematics and net lists. 5 - Perform full design checks including DRC and MRC before manufacture begins. 6 - Prepare bill of materials and assembly instructions for all designs. 7 - Transmit design data to board manufacturing site. 8 - Interface directly with clients on any design related dispute. 9 - Comply with the requirements of the Synergie-Cad (UK) Ltd BS EN ISO 9001 Quality system.   I spent 2 weeks at Linwave Technology on a work experience programme, during my stay I worked on a variety of tasks such as: - Manage night-rider project - Design, sketch and print a PCB - Locate (Using stock software) then solder components onto PCB - Design and cut a metal plate frame for PCB - Assemble all parts for working night-rider lights system - Learned the skills of interpreting a specification for an order - Learned how to manage quotes and orders - Learned about company production and finances including software - Took part in a monthly meeting and learned its importance - I also experienced a good working atmosphere throughout my time at Linwave
