I originally met Colin when he was with IBM and I worked for ecVision. We discussed a report/whitepaper that set the stage for the acquisition of ecVision by Amber Road. It supported the need for a supply chain platform that combine sourcing and logistics in a single platform. Today, we see this broadened as Amber Road was acquired by E2open and the footprint is even bigger. Colin foretold the need. He has been working on a series of whitepapers for the last 9 months to support our sales intiative to target specific vertical industries. These papers address sourcing, trade and logistics concerns by industry and support the need for technology. The field marketing and sales teams have leveraged these for lead generation, but we have also garnered respect as a thought leader. Colin's work is sharp and top-notch. I hope to do more joint projects with him.
