As a research associate at OncoPrecision, I contribute to the development of cutting-edge oncology technologies. Our team is working with ex-vivo samples from multiple myeloma patients, testing a wide range of treatments simultaneously. I utilize my expertise in cell culture, flow cytometry, and GUI-based data analysis to support these efforts. Our work has the potential to make a significant impact on cancer patients, their families, and the future of cancer treatments. Apr 2017 - Mar 2023
As a PhD Student, conducted doctoral research on the co-adjuvant capacity of a liquid crystal nanostructure to improve the immune response developed by CpG-ODN. Investigated and compared the immunochemical microenvironment developed at the injection site and secondary lymphoid tissues by the nanostructure and CpG-ODN, as well as the impact of this microenvironment on the final immune response. Designed and performed experiments using techniques such as in vitro cell culture, flow cytometry, and animal models of vaccination. Analyzed and interpreted data using statistical software, and presented findings at national and international conferences. Worked with both animal models and human samples, performing flow cytometry analyses. Through this doctoral research experience, I gained valuable expertise in vaccine research, immunology, and laboratory techniques, including statistical analysis of research data. Show less
