  Enrolled as a full-time, full research dissertation masters (MEng) student with the topic, "Solid Confinement Media for Laser Shock Peening in Aeronautical Applications.I have presented my topic at the 7th International Laser Peening and Related Phenomena conference in Singapore, in 2018.

  Teaching & running the second-year aeronautical engineering course Applied Mechanics A – Statics.• Bi-weekly lectures to 235 students using lecture slides of my own making, setting & running weekly tutorials, a class test, an assignment & a final exam. The assignment took the form of a relatively basic but relevant static analysis of a Martian communications antenna in the windy Martian atmosphere. • Taking the course fully online at very short notice due to the 2020 pandemic & subsequent South African national lockdown. This was achieved using annotated lecture slides & notes, voice recordings to accompany the materials, & full videos of the intended lecture.• Running & assessing a third-year research lab, whereby the students were tasking with creating a research report around the broad topic of 'Propeller Performance'.• I have also been the primary operator & maintainer of the Wits/NAC flight simulator.
