Constantin was an excellent engineer to work with. He had extensive knowledge of Veritas Clustering (SF-RAC), EMC Storage and was able to quickly pick up and manage both the Hitachi AMS-1000 and the NetApp storage at Eloan. He designed and implimented the HDS solution and was able to work through numerous technical challenged presented by HDS and Solaris MPXIO. He also set up replication between multiple NetApp systems and their corresponding disaster recovery sites. Constantin also created and managed the Solaris zones used in the Application Certification environment, thus giving the QA and development team everything they needed to properly validate the code before it went live. He was also responsible for migrating databases between disaster recovery sites and restructuring both storage and database configurations. Constantin also designed and implimented and LDAP solution very quickly to meet the migration needs of some legacy systems. This improved both the stability and security of the centralized authentication used by many key systems. His overall knowledge of unix and storage is actually quite impressive. I would gladly work with Constantin again any day. Eloan will certainly have some major gaps without him around.
