Master Thesis in Computational Biology
-
Mar 2022 - Sep 2022
During my master's thesis, I worked on developping a simulation framework to simulate the signalling network of CAR T cells. This led to the development of a fuzzy logic tool for the simulation of biological networks - see our paper "Fuzzy Logic for Biological Networks as ML Regression: Scaling to Single-Cell Datasets With Autograd" Le Gac, C., Driessen A., Deutschmann N. and Rodriguez Martinez M. in NeurIPS 2022 Workshop on Learning Meaningful Representations of Life. Group research project on antibioresistance
-
Sep 2018 - May 2019
Study of the apparition of antibiotic resistance in two strains of Corynebacterium Glutamicum: a wildtype strain and a cell deficient for DNA mismatch repair system. With one of my colleages, I was responsible for the informatics and modeling part of this project which aimed to emulate a Harvard Medical School experiment on the study of microbial evolution on antibiotic landscapes using a MEGA-plate (doi: 10.1126/science.aag0822). Two other colleagues focused on the experimental work.
