I am delighted with the opportunity to develop and further by career with Charles Hurst Toyota Belfast. Having worked with Toyota for over 5 years now, I believe I have learnt a lot about the brand, business structure & customer journey. Having learnt this I am now looking forward to continuing to help our business grow and develop my own personal self & I am very grateful of the amazing opportunity I have been given. For everyone in the fleet business whom I have crossed paths with and worked with, it has been a pleasure & I wish you all the best. Don't be a stranger I am still working in the same building. I have been working in the Motor Trade industry for nearly 4 years now and have always been working for Toyota. I have had many family members & friends who are within the industry and always having a keen interest for cars I started looking to join the industry. When I seen an opportunity come up in Toyota I was extremely keen to apply as I was used to their cars as family members of mine had a number of cars within the range so I knew they were a great manufacture. Since joining the team I have thoroughly enjoyed learning new aspects of the trade through retail, fleet & Motability. I thrive on being busy and constantly being on the go, this is why this job suits me so well. I am constantly meeting new people & learning new things. Joining the fleet department after already selling as a retail sales executive has benefited me as I already have an extensive knowledge of the process & product knowledge. So far I have enjoyed meeting even more people within different business whom Charles Hurst Toyota has already gained a relationship with and I look forward to growing that relationship and developing new relationships with new potential clients. My main aim is to work closely alongside local business helping them grow their fleet size and reduce their outgoings on motoring. I look forward to seeing the Fleet & Motability department within Charles Hurst Toyota grow further over the next few years and I look forward to meeting new people. Show less

Assistant Store Manager

Jan 2010 - Feb 2013
I have always had a keen interest in the latest technology & after seeing a position come up for a full time Sales Associate in the Three Store in Bangor NI, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to join one of the largest mobile phone companies. While working for Three I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. I had the opportunity to work with some great people and learnt a lot about the basics of retail sales. This is when I discovered that I loved being in a sales environment. Having a target/goal to achieve each month gave me the opportunity to prove to myself and others that I was capable of achieving and excelling within a sales team. In 2012 I was presented with an award for 'Number 1 for Customer Satisfaction' within the 11 stores throughout the Northern Ireland Area. This was an achievement which I was very proud off and encouraged me to continuously hold this high level of customer service. I also was given the opportunity to become a Sony Ambassador which entailed me attending product launches for the latest phones and accessories and become the 'Sony Expert' within my store. Having worked for a number of years as a retail sales associate I wanted to improve and progress within the job so I applied and was offered a promotion to Assistant Store Manager within the same store. Becoming an Assistant Store Manager gave me further responsibilities within the store, such as; - Daily running of the store, - Daily paper work audits maintaining the high level which was expected by the company, - Organizing weekly rotas and authorising staff holidays while thinking about the business needs, - Handling customer complaints if a customer ever had any issues with their phone and wasn't happy, - Team building & encouraging each staff member to improve on their individual and team performance as well as managing KPI's within the store. I still have a great relationship with the sales team and management within the company. Show less
