  At Kilsaran, I took part of their 6 month internship programme for students. Here I learned basic engineering skills working with a number a contracts managers on civil projects. A lot of my work included area measuring and quantifying tonnage of materials required to build up roads. Some of the work I completed also included quality control of material and skid resistance testing on finished surfaces. By the end of my time with Kilsaran, I was trusted to work alone on domestic and commercial projects to compile and submit material orders to the quarry. Show less
