I was required to help customers out with any queries, problems or issues that they may have faced. I was also tasked with pulling in delivery and restocking the shelves in the stockroom ensuring that the cubing was correct. I also had the responsibility for taking customers orders in the tills and also had to pick these orders of the shelves and hand it out to customer. Basically giving the customer an excellent customer experience in that i would help and assist them to the best of my ability. Internship with Hewlett Packard working as part of the HP 3PAR storage division testing various different systems against the 3PAR product. While working for HP on my placement year I worked as part of the SET team where I was responsible for setting up and configuring servers for Fibre Channel, FCoE and iSCSI connections to the HP 3PAR storage arrays. I gained experience in installing and configuring various different operating systems like the different generations of Windows Server, Red Hat, Oracle UEK, Oracle VM. I would run test against these various different configurations and setup and log bug to detail any issues that I found.

Originally started working with Northern Ireland Housing Executive as a placement student while I studied a foundation degree in Computing and Network Systems. I was working as a developer and gained experience in Share Point, CSS, .Net, Javascript. Once my placement finished in may 2013 I was offered a 4 month contract and worked in the infrastructure side of computing by installing software, diagnosing computer connectivity issues and replacing old and faulty hardware.
