Project Manager
-
Aug 2013 - Sep 2014
Following completion of my various qualifications I achieved a management position with FCBS in August of last year. The role has given me exposure to the full scope of project work undertaken by the company under the framework agreement with Network Rail ranging from minor works to major projects up to £500k. Responsible for managing a portfolio of projects, including labour requirements, liaison with major clients and their agents, ensuring adherence to programme timetables and sourcing materials as required. This also included working on retail refurbishment's on the major stations. I would have the main role involved in the fitting out of the electrical services as per the client’s detail. Key learnings include: experience of the project management process including tendering, estimating from drawing, budget management, contract management, production of project documentation such as method statements, task briefings and Health & Safety and O&M Files. I have also gained knowledge of Network Rail and its Project Standards, Show less

NICEIC Qualified supervisor
-
Aug 2009 - Jul 2012
I joined the company when it was a new start-up business and took on the role of QS (Qualified Supervisor). Responding to technical queries from other electricians as well as office staff. Working with high profile clients, on specialist work as well as day to day domestic and commercial projects / tasks. Responsible for budgeting and pricing jobs, researching and sourcing materials, managing own workload often to tight timescales. Gaining exposure to state of the art home-integrated systems. Managing client relationships ensuring highest standards of customer care. I have coached and trained an apprentice electrician in the team. I have received excellent customer feedback on numerous occasions and have, as a result, been requested specifically to return to projects to undertake follow-up / additional work. I also commenced studying for my HNC Buildings Services Electrical in September 2011. Show less
