Responsible for working closely with various stakeholders from the university and the students' union in ensuring that we critically assessed draft documentation and highlighted areas that required attention. Provided feedback and suggestions to improve any documentation and ensured documentation submitted to the overall Steering Group reflected the agreed vision and principles for student success. Awarded a six-week research scholarship as part of the Maynooth University Summer Programme for Undergraduate Reseach (SPUR) where I worked as a Research Assistant within the Maynooth University School of Business. I collaborated with Dr. Marian Crowley-Henry (Associate Professor in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour) on a research project which explored the Career & Work Experiences of the Irish diaspora. During this project approximately 50 blog posts which were written by Irish people living overseas was analysed where it was discovered that the fear of missing out (FoMO) is the driver of contemporary migration. The data extracted from these blog posts were then analysed using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. Our work over the six weeks was published as an RTÉ Brainstorm article titled: "Is the Cost of Living Crisis Driving People from Ireland?". I presented my research at the Maynooth University Undergraduate Research Symposium as part of Maynooth University Research Week 2022. Show less
