  Following on from the earlier success with the Mullingar Discount Card, I decided to develop the Mullingar App, allowing local businesses to advertise their special offers, promotions and deals to subscribers. • Worked with technologists to develop the platform. • Sales & Marketing of the app, growing it to over 3,000 regular users. • Financial management, accounts and reporting – Businesses pay a subscription to advertise on the app, other features include events listings, attractions, map and business listings.



Mullingar/Tullamore Discount Card

  Devised and developed a discount based marketing solution for businesses in the local Mullingar/Tullamore market. • The creation of this business was spurred on by deepening economic conditions and an increasing amount of ‘retail tourism’ from Mullingar to Northern Ireland. • The product was aimed at local businesses seeking to offer discounted products and services (typically 10-20% off when using card). • Businesses paid a membership fee to partner with the discount card and customers could buy the card online or in selected retailers. • I was fully involved in sales marketing, business development, financial management and reporting. • Successfully developed the concept into the Tullamore business market. • In 2012, I won the Archie Boost competition for business start-ups, subsequently the business caught the attention of Gavin Duffy, Dragons Den, who was impressed with the concept and its success.

  Having joined Win Win on a 6 month placement from college, I was tasked with working with some of Irelands leading brands, developing and marketing a range of discounts and promoted services and products • Shortly into my placement, the MD of Red Ribbon, a sister company of Win Win, left the business, I was approached to take up a short term leadership role within Red Ribbon brand and this resulted in me achieving an extra €100k in sales revenue and beating previous years sales records.
