  The College Tribune is Ireland's largest independent student newspaper. As Senior Reporter, I reported on news and current affairs at University College Dublin and helped establish the newspaper's first investigative team, Fócas.

  Following my term as Editor-in-Chief of The College Tribune, I dedicated my summer to establishing a ~30 person News Team unseen before at the publication. Emerging from the first wave of the pandemic, students had little opportunities. We took full advantage of this time and formed a team consisting of a News Editor, Deputy News Editor, Assistant News Editors and a number of Reporters.

  I worked as Editor-in-Chief at Ireland's largest independent newspaper, commanding a team of over 40 people. Responsibilities included, managing section editors and news reporters, writing articles on tight deadlines, covering current affairs at UCD, producing a print newspaper every 2-3 weeks and developing a multi-year strategy for the organisation. I won Editor of the Year 2020 at the National Student Media Awards and The College Tribune was nominated for Newspaper of the Year while under my leadership. Show less
