Boulder Media is a leading Irish animation studio that produces well-known cartoons, such as Danger Mouse and Wander Over Yonder. As an editor it was my responsibility to assemble the storyboards of new episodes in the Storyboard Pro editing software, creating the flow of the narrative and giving the animators a structure to flesh out. I also worked closely with directors to make any changes to the show before it went to the final stages of production. Producer and Editor
-
Feb 2016 - Apr 2018
Facts is the 5th most popular YouTube channel in Ireland with over 1.3 million subscribers. Our top videos have over 10 million views and have been featured on websites such as Buzzfeed, Mashable and Cosmopolitan. My main responsibility is the full production and post-production of one video each week. Utilising YouTube's analytics, I research video ideas that are likely to perform well with our audience and film each video with our contributors of comedians and actors. The post-production involves assembling the hours of footage into a snappy 4 minute final product, as well as creating appealing graphics. I am responsible for uploading the video and monitoring it's performance, contacting relevant websites about promoting our videos. During my time at Facts I have boosted the efficiency of my filming and editing workflow and have become adept at organising and executing complicated shoots either in our studio or on location. I have further improved my proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop, programs that I use on a daily basis. youtube.com/facts Show less

-
Co-Founder and Producer/Editor
-
Aug 2014 - Jan 2016
I set up Four Giants with a fellow filmmaker to focus on creating low budget high quality videos, producing music videos, comedy sketches and promo videos. A highlight was working with RTE to make a series of comedy sketches with the comedian Alison Spittle. We collaborated with Alison in writing the sketches and organised the pre-production, filming, editing and delivery of the sketches in-house. We also produced an interview series called 'Profiles' where I conducted and edited interviews with leading Irish designers and creative professionals. I took part in all aspects of filmmaking from pre-production to post. I was especially focused on the editing of the projects, ensuring that the final product was of a high standard. I have become very adept at using Adobe Premiere Pro and creating motion graphics in After Effects. Show less
